Lotterywest State Biomedical Facility Genomics

We provide Western Australian users with access to cutting-edge genomics and genetics technologies for research, diagnostic testing and development purposes. The facility was initially funded by generous grants from Lotterywest, and later supplemented by grants from the NHMRC and UWA's Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. In 2010, a generous donation from Mr Charles Morgan allowed the purchase of new equipment, allowing access to entire genome sequencing at low cost.

Our services can be tailored to suit the needs of individual researchers. Most platforms can be operated by individual users, which allows you to manage your own workloads.

Alternatively services can be performed by our staff for you, for a reasonable fee.
